Dr. James was born in Ohio and moved to northern Utah after graduating high school to attend Utah State University. After serving a full-time mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Albuquerque, New Mexico, he completed his undergraduate degree, and returned to New Mexico to work as a district manager for Blake's Lotaburger. Ultimately, he decided to change career paths and become a physical therapist. 

   After completing the necessary prerequisite coursework, he was accepted to the physical therapy program at the University of Missouri, located in Columbia Missouri. Following graduation in May of 2022, James and his family moved to Farmington New Mexico. 

   Prior to opening Ideal Physical Therapy, Dr. James worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, and home health and believes that those experiences have been invaluable in helping him grow as a clinician. 

He is a firm believer that human contact and trust are fundamental to the healing process and hopes to continue to increase his manual therapy skills.

He loves spending time outside with his family exploring the beauty of the Four Corners, especially on his mountain bike.
