FAQs

What makes Ideal Physical Therapy Special?

I only work with my patients one-on-one and every session is specifically tailored to your needs and focused on your goals. Together, we will develop a plan of care using a proven three step process:

  1. Determine the root cause of your issue.

  2. Get you out of pain and moving more freely.

  3. Develop a customized exercise plan to prevent a relapse.

What insurance do you accept?

Unfortunately, traditional insurance can be restrictive when it comes to providing quality, one-on-one care. For this reason, I do not accept any commercial insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid. All of my services are self-pay.

If you don’t accept any insurance, how much does it cost to see you?

That is a great question and the answer is 100% dependent on your goals. I would encourage you to schedule a free discovery call so that we can determine together if working together is a good fit.

Do you accept HSA/FSA payments?

Yes! Ideal Physical Therapy gladly accepts HSA and FSA cards for all medically necessary physical therapy services. If your card requires additional documentation, we can provide a detailed superbill that includes diagnosis and treatment codes for easy reimbursement.
If your HSA/FSA card ever declines at checkout, you can simply pay with another method and submit the superbill to your plan for reimbursement.

What conditions do you treat?

We treat a wide range of conditions, including sports injuries, back and neck pain, headaches, vertigo, and more. For more details, check out our Conditions Treated section on the website.

Do I need a doctor’s referral to see you?

No referral is needed! In New Mexico, you have direct access to physical therapy, which means you can come see us directly whenever you need care.

What should I expect during my first visit?

Your first visit will include a thorough evaluation where we’ll discuss your symptoms, medical history, and goals. We’ll then create a personalized treatment plan to get you on the path to recovery.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions varies depending on your condition and individual progress. We’ll discuss this during your first visit and keep you informed every step of the way.

What can I do at home to support my recovery?

We’ll provide you with home exercises and self-care tips to complement your in-clinic treatment. This helps speed up your recovery and empower you to take charge of your health.
